In the language of flowers, the Zinnia symbolizes friendship, remembrance, and lasting affection. In some cultures, the flower represents thoughts for an absent friend. In the same way, The Zinnia Anthology Project is dedicated to developing a creative space to celebrate the underrepresented relationships we hold amongst ourselves, alongside all other types of marginalized and unseen issues of the modern literary world.
