*The Beginnings of the Anthology*
The two met at a workshop in the Iowa Young Writers’ Studio pertaining to Friendships in Fiction. After participating in the workshop, they found mutual interests in works of art relating to platonic relationships, and the astounding lack of such works in the creative field.
The Zinnia Anthology Project was founded in order to bring more recognition to overlooked topics in artistic mediums including the non-romantic types of love featured in our very first issue.
