Issue 2: Prompt
"Unveiled: Stories on Found Family"
Issue II will explore the intricate dynamics of familial relationships not connected by blood ties. Amidst the chaos and turmoil of our lives, these families that we choose often provide the steadfast support we need to overcome our adversities. Between works like Percy Jackson to Normal People, found family has become an integral backbone of modern literature. However, despite its pervasiveness, this trope is still often overlooked in favor of romantic or sexual relationships. As the chapter of isolation and quarantine closes, it is now crucial to look back and appreciate the support and love we receive from the people around us.
